JAMMU, Oct 16: The Director of Chanakya IAS Academy, Jammu Centre, Owais Ali Bhat and Azhar, Director of Exceptional Academy, Srinagar called on LG Manoj Sinha here today.
Bhat is an educationist, philanthropist and social worker.
He also runs an NGO namely Owais Ali Bhat Foundation.
During their meeting, both the directors briefed the LG about the issues related to students welfare, reservations issues, skill development schemes, scholarships to the students and how alarming is unemployment rate of youth in J&K and lack of job opportunities in J&K.
They also briefed the LG about the work that has been done through their Foundations in recent floods in Jammu as well as in Budgam district in Kashmir.
LG Manoj Sinha gave a very patient hearing to both the directors and assured that all their issues will be addressed very soon.
He said that his Administration is working round the clock to sort out the issues of the citizens of Jammu and Kashmir.
