KSS Faridabad awards scholarships to 75 deserving students at Jammu

JAMMU, Oct 16:,- In a remarkable initiative to support academic excellence, Kashmiri Sewak Samaj (KSS) Faridabad awarded scholarships worth ?10,000 each to 70 deserving students on a merit-cum-means basis.
The event was held at the Sharika Foundation Charitable Trust (SFCT), Lower Roop Nagar, here, today. The ceremony was attended by students, parents, and other esteemed dignitaries.
The scholarships were granted to students from both the Jammu and Kashmir provinces, identified and recommended by the Sharika Foundation and Charitable Trust, Jammu, for their outstanding academic achievements and financial need.
The scholarship function was graced by the KSS Faridabad team, including Kashi Akhoon its vice president, Vinod Dhar general secretary, Vijay Trakroo, Navneet Sopory, Executive Members and Trustee from the Sharika Foundation Charitable Trust, Sanjay Dhar. The dignitaries distributed the cheques and engaged in uplifting discussions with the students and their families, reinforcing the importance of education for the youth.
In their address Kashi Akhoon , Sanjay Dhar, Vinod Dhar , Vijay Trakroo and Navneet Ji emphasised the pivotal role of education in empowering the future of the community. The smiles of joy on the faces of the students were the true reward of the event, reflecting the hope and potential that these scholarships represent.
Kashi Akhoon also conveyed a heartfelt message from Sudhir Kumar Sopory, the president of KSS Faridabad, to the students. He encouraged them to strive for excellence in their academic and professional journeys, assuring them that KSS would continue to support their educational aspirations.
