JAMMU, Oct 17: DBN Amarvilla School claimed the overall trophy at the Jammu Division Karate Championship 2025, held from October 13 to 16 at the Indoor Sports Complex, Bhagwati Nagar. The event, organized by Traditional Karate-Do Association of J&K, witnessed participation from nearly 350 players representing 12-15 schools and clubs from across the region.
Students of DBN Amarvilla delivered exceptional performances, securing a large number of medals. Gold medal winners included Siya Singh, Ridhi, Pranav Tangria, Khwaish Chandra, Chitraksh, Bhavni Sedhra, Dakshesh Singh, Keshav Bhagat, Adhivika, Diksha Choudhary, Nilesh Jain, Honey Singh and Ragini Kumari. The school also earned silver medals through students like Dhruv Sangra, Sumar, Diksha Mehra, and others, while several bronze medals were also bagged. Principal Ranju Malhotra lauded the students’ dedication and the efforts of Coach Naresh Kumar.
