JAMMU: Devender Yadav has assumed charge as the Airport Director of Jammu Airport on Saturday.
He brings with him vast experience of 23 years including 15 years in the software industry, having worked with reputed organizations such as IBM, Oracle, and C-DOT. Yadav holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from Punjab University. His strong background in technology, project management & administration has significantly contributed in various aviation infrastructure initiatives.
His last tenure was Airport Director, Veer Savarker, International Airport, Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair). During his last tenure as Airport Director Yadav played a key role in the inauguration and operationalization of the new terminal building, DVOR, ILS, navigation aids, in-line baggage handling system, and DigiYatra implementation.
With his extensive experience and leadership, Jammu Airport is expected to continue its growth trajectory with enhanced passenger experience, operational efficiency, and technological advancement.
