RM Public School celebrates Sports-cum-Grandparents’ Day

JAMMU, Oct 18: RM Public School (Penguin Paradise) celebrated Sports-cum-Grandparents’ Day with great zeal and warmth.
The event, organized for Pre-Primary and Class I students, was a delightful blend of fun, fitness, and family bonding. Grandparents actively participated, sharing laughter and fond memories with their grandchildren.
The programme began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony graced by Chairman Rameshwar Mengi, Director Rakshan Mengi, Vice Principal Dr Harvinder Kour, Administrator Surinder Singh and Pushp Vatika Director Rasheek Mengi, along with guests including SSP CID Randheer Singh, Dr Jyoti Sharma (Joint Director, Finance Department), Dr Shreyansh Kumar Jain (State Yoga Commissioner), Lt Gen Rakesh Sharma (Retired), Rita Mengi, Neetu Kaur Bali, Manmeet Singh and Ankita Mohan.
The event opened with a cheerful welcome song by the tiny tots, followed by fun-filled activities such as the March Past Competition, Baton Race, and Obstacle Race. The winners were Alishan Shabri, Avnoor Kour, Abhiyansh Sharma, Shifayat Zaffar, Mujeeb-ul-Rahaman Bhatti, and Reyansh Sharma.
The celebration concluded with a trophy and certificate distribution ceremony.
