JAMMU, Oct 19: MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, inaugurated the Christmas Cup 2025, organized by the youth of Christian Colony, Bakshi Nagar, here today. The event, aimed at promoting sports, community engagement, and festive spirit among the residents, witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth and sports enthusiasts.
The exciting event has attracted enthusiastic participation from 16 teams, all set to compete for the championship. The final match is scheduled for December 15, 2025, promising an action-packed conclusion to the tournament.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including SDPO Bakshi Nagar Satish Bhardwaj, DySP Shekhar Kalu, and senior leaders Atul Bakshi, Indresh Gupta, Ajay Anand and Hardev. The presence of these leaders highlighted the community’s strong support for youth-led initiatives and sports development in the area.
Addressing the gathering during the inauguration, Arvind Gupta lauded the efforts of the organizers for fostering a sense of unity and encouraging healthy competition.
