SAMBA, Oct 20: The Cycling Association of Jammu and Kashmir, in collaboration with the J&K Sports Council, is set to organize the District Cycling Championship on October 26, 2025. The event will commence at 10:00 am and will feature competitions across multiple age groups including senior, junior, sub-junior, and under-14 for both boys and girls.
The championship aims to promote cycling talent at the grassroots level and provide young cyclists an opportunity to showcase their skills. Winners in the open category will earn qualification for the upcoming State Championship.
The handout issued said interested cyclists have asked to submit essential documents including a Date of Birth Certificate, Aadhar Card, Domicile Certificate and two passport-size photographs.
Entry forms can be obtained by contacting the district association office bearers: Tajinder Singh (Secretary, Jammu District Association) at 9419153980, Om Parkash Sharma at 9419100980 and Sarwant Singh Gill at 9419108337. The organizers have invited all aspiring cyclists to register and take part in the event to further promote the sport in the region.
