RAJOURI, Oct 20: In a decisive enforcement action, Drug Inspector Mohd Shakoor today seized a large quantity of medicines from Aqeel Medical Hall, Thannamandi, after it was found operating without a valid drug license.
According to official sources, the medical establishment had failed to renew its license for the past two years, in clear violation of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act. Acting promptly upon verification, the Drug Inspector conducted an inspection and seized all medicines stocked in the premises.
Authorities have initiated further legal proceedings against the violator, and the matter is being taken up for appropriate action as per law.
