UDHAMPUR, Oct 23: A youth ended his life by hanging himself from ceiling fan hook in his house in village Baredian, Ward number 3, Udhampur, this evening.
According to the police report, Akhil Sharma alias Chunnu (22), son of Lt Subash Chander, resident of Baredian in Udhampur, was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook in his house under mysterious circumstances.
On being informed by the family members, a Police team Roundomail Police Post reached the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the post-mortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
