JAMMU, Oct 26: The 25th session of Vedic Pathshala by Jammu Yatri Bhawan Trust (JYBT) at ‘Sankat Mochan Panchmukhi Shree Hanuman Mandir Bhawan’, B.C Road was organised here today with 60 students, mostly under 15.
These students were trained in reciting Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, Shree Hanuman Chalisa, Sunderkand and many more spiritual texts.
Their ability of minor students to recite and translate Shrimad Bhagvad Gita and Shree Hanuman Chalisa was noteworthy.
“By introducing these timeless values and teachings at a young age, we empower the next generation to connect with their roots and carry forward the legacy of Sanatan Dharma,” said Pawan Kumar Shastri, Trust president.
“The Trust aims to continue these classes to enlighten the younger generation about Sanatan Dharma’s rich heritage by imparting knowledge of ancient’s scriptures like Shree Bhagavad Gita, Hanuman Chalisa, Ramayana, Veda and Upanishad,” said Arun Shastri.
Those who were present on the occasion were Dr. Ajay Shastri; Gurdas Sharma, Trust general secretary/treasurer; Sukhdev Sharma and staff of the Trust.
