JAMMU, Oct 26: AIMCCC has urged J&K administration to take necessary steps for safeguarding the land of Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) in valley and added that wherever there is encroachment over such lands, the same should be removed.
In a handout, members of KP community demanded passing of a bill in J&K Assembly for general demarcation of whole immovable property of KPs as a confidence building measure for the minority community of the valley.
They also demanded passing of Genocide Bill to punish those involved in the killing of KPs so that justice is delivered to the victims.
The handout further stated that AIMCCC will oppose any bill which intends to harm immovable property of KPs in the valley as the same will snatch future rehabilitation of KPs.
