JAMMU, Oct 28: In what could be termed as misuse of the official position, a petrol pump employee here was slapped and humiliated by a police cop after the former denied the latter the permission to park his vehicle within the filling station.
Reportedly, police driver Aman, posted at Janipur Police Station, was denied parking of a vehicle within the premises of the filling station near Janipur Main Stop yesterday by an employee of the pump, Vicky.
Angry over the behaviour of the employee, the police cop came looking for him today and slapped him twice while the senior officers were sitting inside the vehicle.
As per police sources, no action had been initiated against the erring cop till the press time.
