JAMMU: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. A dream without a plan is just a wish”. With this insightful quote Swati Sharma of Grade 7th Galaxy conducted the morning assembly along with her classmates on the topic “Goal setting” at JKPS Kunjwani.
Adding more gravitas, Sparshika said, “Goal gives direction to our dreams and helps us to stay focused and motivated. Planning is equally important; it helps us to organize our steps and turn our dreams into reality”.
Taking the discussion a notch higher, Ishika stated, “Setting goals is like planting the seed of your dreams and planning is how you help that seed grow! Goal setting means deciding what you truly want to achieve. It gives you life direction, focus and purpose. A clear goal is like a compass that guides you through challenges and keep you moving forward”.
The baton was further taken by Avineet, “Planning is the map that helps you reach your goal. Its about breaking your big dreams into small smart and double step. Goals make you motivated and focused whereas plan make you organized and confident”.
Concluding the discussion, Srhesha said, “Set your goals high, plan wisely and work hard because success belongs to those who prepare for it”.
Under the segment Quotations, Gurnoor quoted Ted Turner, “You should set goals beyond your reach so you always have something to live for”. Shresha referred to Albert Einstein, “If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal not to people or things”. Avineet quoted Tonny Robbins, “Setting goal is the first step in turning the invisible into visible”.
Ishika referred to Napolean Hill, “A goal is a dream with a deadline”. Chaitanya quoted Benjamin Franklin, “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail”. Jaishreydhan referred to James Cameron, “If you set your goals ridiculously high and it’s a failure, you will fail above everyone else success”.
Applauding the presenters for enlightening the audience, Principal JKPS Kujwani Rajesh Rathore said, “Goals are the blueprints of your destiny. Each dream you nurture becomes meaningful only when it is translated into a clear, measurable, and time-bound goal”.
“As young learners, you must learn to set goals that challenge you yet inspire you – goals that push you to step beyond comfort and discover your true potential. Never be afraid of failures on this journey; they are simply milestones on the road to success. Always remember: Goal-oriented minds build a purposeful nation”.
