JAMMU, Oct 30: The Jammu & Kashmir Sub-Junior Roll Ball Team was felicitated after winning the Bronze Medal at the 18th Sub-Junior Roll Ball National Championship 2025, held at Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The tournament featured 26 teams from across India, where J&K showed remarkable performance.
In a closely contested semi-final, J&K narrowly lost to eventual champions Haryana by 2-1 but secured third place overall. Players recognized for exceptional performance included Qurat Ul Ain, Shahzadi Eleeza, Meera Verma and Arushma Mir. Qurat Ul Ain, the team captain, was declared the best scorer of the tournament and was awarded a bicycle by the organizers.
The players and parents expressed gratitude to the J&K Sports Council and Roll Ball Association of J&K for their support in providing opportunities to showcase talent at the national level. Team Members: Qurat Ul Ain (Captain), Qubra Parveez, Arushma Mir, Areeba Mir, Meera Verma, Ebrah Jahan, Urwah Sajad, Harshita Saini, Dhwani Nanda, Arshita Singh and Shahzadi Eleeza.
