SAMBA, Nov 7: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized six vehicles including four dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations (PS) Samba and Ramgarh which were being used for illegal transportation/ mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Ramgarhand icharge Police Post (PP), Mansar of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized four dumpers bearing Registration Numbers JK21J-7540, JK21E-5891, JK14F-0422, JK21G-7079 and two tractor trolleys without Registration Numbers which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
All the vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
The seizure was made under the supervision of SSP Samba Virinder Manhas.
