Book ‘Pariyon Ka Desh’ by T R Magotra ‘Sagar’ released

JAMMU, Nov 8: J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages here today organised a book release function to release the book ‘Pariyon Ka Desh (Hindukush Ke Antim Hinduonki Adbhut Sanskriti)’, which is a remarkable work by T.R Magotra ‘Sagar’.
The programme commenced with welcome address by Harvinder Kour, Secretary JKAACL, who highlighted the Academy’s continued commitment in promoting literature, culture and regional heritage.
Prof. Raj Kumar presented a detailed research paper on the book, providing valuable insights into the ancient Indian history and culture as reflected in Magotra’s work.
After this, the book was formally released by the dignitaries including Dr. Om Goswami, Capt. Lalit Gupta, Prof. Raj Kumar, Sonali Arun Gupta, Additional Secretary, Dr. Javaid Rahi (Divisional Head, JKAACL Jammu), Dr. Chanchal Sharma (Editor Hindi) and family members of the author.
Dr. Om Goswami gave a deep and thoughtful analysis of the book, highlighting its literary merit and its relevance in understanding the continuity of Indian civilization through cultural narratives.
Capt. Lalit Gupta also spoke on the occasion.
T.R. Magotra shared the inspiration and background behind the book, tracing his journey of exploration into the mystical and cultural landscapes of the Hindukush.
Proceedings of the event were conducted by Dr. Chanchal Sharma, Editor (Hindi), JKAACL, while Dr. Javaid Rahi, Divisional Head, JKAACL, presented vote of thanks.
