SAMBA: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized six vehicles including three dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba and Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams headed by SHO police station Samba, SHO police station Ghagwal, Incharges Police Posts Supwal, Goran & Rakh Amb Talli of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized three dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21J-5799, JK20A-4415, JK02CW-6869, a tractor trolley bearing registration No. JK08H-5712 and two tractor trolleys without Nos. which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
