UT, District Panels Formed To Implement SC Directions On Stray Dog Menace

JAMMU, Nov 19: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has constituted a Union Territory–level committee and district-level committees to implement the Supreme Court’s directions issued on November seven in the suo motu case titled “City Hounded by Strays, Kids Pay Price” concerning the State of Andhra Pradesh.
The sanction for forming these committees follows the apex court’s orders in Writ Petition (C) No. five of 2025, with the panels tasked to ensure effective implementation of all directions related to controlling the stray dog menace and improving public safety.
