CEO suspends 5 teachers

RAJOURI, Nov 19: Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Mohammad Hafiz today placed five Government teachers under suspension in the district.
Reports said CEO conducted a surprise inspection of several schools across Zone Rajouri to assess staff attendance, classroom functioning, and administrative performance.
During the inspection, the CEO found five teachers absent from duty without any prior permission or justification. Taking strict cognizance of this serious lapse, he ordered their immediate suspension. The CEO made it clear that such dereliction of duty directly affects students’ education and will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
In continuation of his firm action against absenteeism, CEO reiterated that all absentee staff members will face strict disciplinary measures, including suspension and further departmental action wherever required.
Additionally, the CEO observed administrative irregularities in two Government Middle Schools. As a result, he issued explanation notices to the heads of both schools, seeking clarification for poor supervision and failure to maintain proper academic and administrative standards.
CEO Rajouri expressed concern over the improper utilisation of school development funds in certain institutions. He directed the Zonal Education Officer Rajouri to conduct a detailed enquiry into the matter. He further stated that those found guilty of mismanagement or misuse of funds, will face strict action, as FIR will be lodged against them for misusing funds meant for school development. He further directed the Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Rajouri to conduct regular monitoring and submit a comprehensive follow-up report.
