JAMMU: The government on Thursday transferred 58 JKAS officers.
According to the order issued by M. Raju, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department, Rajinder Singh Tara, JKAS, Controller, Legal Metrology, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Secretary in the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment; Tariq Hussain Ganai, JKAS, Director General, Estates, Kashmir holding additional charge of Director General, Estates, Jammu and Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation, on full time basis.
Sajad Hussain Ganai, JKAS, Director General, Development Expenditure Division-I, Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director, ICDS, J&K; Bashir Ahmad Khan, JKAS, Secretary in the Social Welfare Department, shall hold the charge of the post of Executive Director, J&K Rehabilitation Council, Social Welfare Department, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Shiv Kumar Gupta, JKAS, Director, Command Area Development, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Controller, Legal Metrology, J&K; Reyaz Ahmad Wani, JKAS, Additional Inspector General of Registration, Kashmir, as Special Secretary, Science & Technology Department; Rajinder Kumar Sharma, JKAS, Special Secretary, Jal Shakti Department, as Special Secretary, Skill Development Department; Ashwani Khajuria, JKAS, awaiting orders of adjustment in the GAD, has been posted as Director, Estates, Jammu.
