JAMMU, Nov 21: Police Station Janipur here has secured the community punishment for an individual earlier booked under section 355 of the BNS (misconduct by drunken person).
Mohan Singh of Toph Sherkhania was taken up on a complaint before the court of Forest Magistrate, Jammu, where the accused was found guilty and ordered to clean and sweep Patoli Park from 4 pm to 5 pm for two days.
Police said the court order reflects a focus on corrective measures and community responsibility, aimed at helping offenders reintegrate while contributing positively to society.
