JAMMU, Nov 24: J P World School, Jammu conducted a Capacity Building Programme on Life Skills, aimed at empowering educators with innovative strategies to enhance teaching effectiveness and promote students’ holistic development. Teachers from the host school and other CBSE schools participated in the enriching workshop.
The programme focused on equipping teachers with essential life-skill methodologies, reflective classroom practices and effective communication techniques to help nurture confident and resilient learners.
The workshop was facilitated by two distinguished resource persons Dr. Renu Gupta, Principal (Retd.) APS Damana and Founder of Rise U and Lokesh Kumar, CBSE Resource Person and Training Expert. Through interactive sessions, group activities, and case discussions, they provided valuable insights into integrating life skills such as critical thinking, empathy, problem-solving and decision-making into everyday teaching. Principal Aparana Kohli appreciated the enthusiastic participation of teachers and stressed the importance of continuous professional development.
