JAMMU, Nov 27: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension in the upgraded posting of Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, a 1997-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, allowing him to continue as Additional Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training.
As per an order, his tenure has now been extended up to November 18, 2026.
Dwivedi has been serving at the Centre after his empanelment for senior administrative roles, and the latest order places him among the key officers handling personnel management at the Union level.
Dwivedi has previously held several important assignments in Jammu and Kashmir, including Commissioner/Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department, Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department, and headed JKIMPARD.
Earlier in his career, he worked as Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, Rajouri and Leh, besides serving as Secretary of Health and Medical Education and holding key positions in Education and Rural Development departments.
He also served two terms as Additional CEO of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.
