JAMMU, Nov 27: Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA) Jammu Chapter in association with Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu and Nursing Council J&K organised a one day state level Professional Development Management Programme (PDMP) for doctors, nursing and other health care professionals of Jammu region at GMC Jammu.
The PDMP was inaugurated by Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Executive Director SMVDIME Kakrayal Katra who was chief guest on this occasion.
Prof (Dr) Ashutosh Gupta Principal & Dean GMC Jammu appreciated AHA for taking such innovative academic initiatives in the past and also as on now to boost skills of the health care professionals.
Prof (Dr) A.S Bhatia, Principal GMC Rajouri who was guest of honour assured for conducting of PDMP at GMC Rajouri.
Dr Rabinder Rattanpal, President AHA Jammu Chapter delivered welcome address.
The inaugural programme was also attended by Dr Satish Sharma, Executive Director AHA Jammu Chapter, Dr Sandeep Singh, Registrar Nursing Council, Dr V K Gupta, Dr Reddy, Dr Neelam Kotwal and other Members of AHA. Around 175 delegates from various Health Institutions of Jammu Region attended the conference.
Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Shaista Ganai General Secretary AHA Jammu Chapter.
The PDMP had 6 technical sessions conducted by Dr Beena Jad, Assistant Professor Microbiology SMVDIME Kakrayal, Prof (Dr) Nusrat Jabeen, Professor Anatomy GMC & Principal College of Nursing Gangyal, Dr Shaista Ganai, Nodal Officer Sir Col. Chopra Nursing Home, Dr Sandeep Singh, Registrar Nursing Council J&K, Dr Shelly Mahajan, Senior Anaesthetist (Directorate of Health Services Jammu) and Dr V.K Gupta, former SMO Polio project WHO; Dr Yashpal Sharma; Prof (Dr) Harleen Kaur, Department of Microbiology GMC Jammu; Shyalja, Head of Nursing Services and IP Operations SMVDIME NSSH, Dr Rehana Khurshid, Medical Superintendent Super Speciality Hospital Jammu; Prof (Dr) Abdul Ghani HOU, Orthopaedic GMC Jammu and Dr Rakesh Sharma, Medical Superintendent CD Hospital Jammu.
Valedictory function was presided over by Dr Satish Sharma, Executive Director AHA Jammu Chapter and was attended by Prof (Dr) Abdul Ghani GMC Jammu, Dr Rabinder Rattanpal, Dr Shelly Mahajan, Dr Neelam Kotwal AP, Dr Shaista Ganai and Dr Arun Kumar wherein certificates were awarded to all the participants.
The entire programme proceedings were conducted by Sadiq Khan National Trainer and Programme Coordinator.
