JKPS is a school with a difference as it has multifaceted, innovative and unique timetable which includes literary activities, physical activities and meaningful academics for the holistic development of the children. Here, everyday first period has been allotted to physical activities and Saturdays are extremely reserved for literary activities competitions like debate, declamation, symposium, recitation, extempore etc, where each child of each class has to participate and speak on mike and the winners of each class get felicitated by the Principal. JKPS believes that literary activities play a vital role in the holistic development of students. These activities go beyond academics and help learners grow intellectually, emotionally, socially, and creatively.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah expressed, “We provide an Activity Based learning environment for child’s Cognitive development. We do this by organising activities that prompt children to freely express their attitudes, ideas and feelings. Such competitions stimulate interest and awareness also.”
