JNV Udhampur holds Alumni Meet

UDHAMPUR, Dec 1: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Udhampur today organized a warm and engaging Alumni Meet at the school’s MP Hall, bringing together former students from various batches and fostering nostalgia and camaraderie.
The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by a welcome address by Principal Rakesh Jaiswal Singh, who highlighted the important role alumni play in the school’s growth and development. Alumni shared their personal experiences and cherished memories, motivating current students and inspiring them to excel.
The programme also featured a series of cultural performances by students, including dances and songs, which added vibrancy to the gathering. Alumni actively discussed plans to form a formal association and mentor current students, demonstrating their commitment to giving back to the institution.
The meet concluded with a vote of thanks by Shilpa and a lunch, providing an opportunity for informal interactions.
