PATHANKOT, Dec 1: Partap World School, Pathankot, organized a grand cultural programme that drew over 2,000 participants, including parents and members of the local community. The event celebrated the theme “Dedicated to the roots of the family tree” and highlighted the talents, creativity, and enthusiasm of students from Pre-Nursery to Class 6.
The programme featured a diverse lineup of performances, including musical evenings, brass band displays, Ganesh Vandana, western and contemporary dance, sports dance, ballet, Arabian dance, Kathak, theatre plays, yoga demonstrations, prop dance, bhangra, and patriotic acts. Theatre plays emerged as a particular highlight, impressing the audience with powerful storytelling and meaningful messages.
The event was graced by Romesh Lal, Additional District & Sessions Judge, Sopore; Dr. Shobha Prashar, Principal of Rama Chopra Sanatan Dharma Kanya Mahavidyalaya and Satish Mahindru, Chairman of The Hindu Urban Co-operative Bank, Pathankot, who lauded the students’ performances and praised the school for fostering creativity, discipline, and cultural values.
Director Sunny Mahajan, Director Oshin Mahajan, and Principal Subhra Rani expressed immense pride in the students’ energy, dedication and confidence. They highlighted the importance of such programmes in promoting holistic development, teamwork and self-expression, complementing the school’s mission to provide a well-rounded education.
