DODA, Dec 2: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh today chaired a meeting in the conference hall, DC Office Complex to review progress under the District Capex Plan. The meeting took stock of the pace of ongoing development works and assessed the physical and financial progress of the projects undertaken under the current year Plan.
A detailed sector-wise and constituency-wise presentation was made by the concerned departments. The meeting was informed about the sector and grant-wise number of proposed works, works tendered, allotted and taken up, completion status of previous year works and the financial status of the same.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the closure of works on the BEAMS/PV Portal, constituency-wise status of works under CDF and progress under several flagship initiatives including SASKI Projects, the Heritage Programme and Dharti Aabha.
The meeting further discussed projects undertaken under UT Capex and NABARD. The officers presented detailed work-wise and road-wise status reports across multiple sectors.
All departments were asked to expedite the pace of pending works and ensure that allotted projects are completed within set timelines. Stress was laid on financial discipline, transparency in execution and strict adherence to quality standards to ensure efficient utilization of public funds.
The meeting was attended by SE R&B, CPO, CAO, CEO, CMO, XENs of R&B, Jal Shakti, Flood Control and PDD, EOs of Doda, Thathri and Bhaderwah Municipalities, besides officers of the line departments.
