RAMBAN, Dec 3: Police here today arrested a man and recovered 14.62 gram of Heroin like substance from him.
Sources informed that during a routine Naka checking, cops from Police Station Banihal arrested Saqib Bashir Bhat, son of Bashir Ahmed Bhat, resident of Bhat Mohalla Khunmoh, Tehsil Pantha Chowk, Srinagar and recovered 14.62 gram of heroin-like substance from him.
The contraband was seized and a case in FIR No. 128/2025 was registered at Police Station Banihal under Sections 8/21/22 of NDPS Act and investigation started.
