RAJOURI, Dec 3: The salaries of 20 health workers, including four doctors, from the Kalakote Medical Block in Rajouri have been withheld for failing to update and validate data on the Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD).
Dr Iqbal Malik, BMO Kalakote, stated that during a review of performance and reporting related to updating and validating data on the NCD portal, it was observed that 20 employees, including four doctors, posted at various Health Ccenters in the Kalakot block, consistently performed poorly and failed to update and validate required data entries, despite repeated instructions, verbal reminders, and opportunities for improvement.
Due to continued negligence in the functioning of the NCD portal, reporting has been incomplete, inaccurate, and delayed, adversely impacting program indicators, monitoring results, and the overall functioning of the health facility.
In light of this, and as a corrective administrative measure, the salaries of four doctors and staff for the month of November are withheld until they properly complete all pending NCD work and submit a written compliance report to the BMO, Kalakot.
The concerned doctors and other employees have been directed to complete all pending NCD entries within three days of the issuance of this order. Submit a detailed compliance report to the BMO office immediately upon completion. They are directed to ensure strict adherence to the assigned NCD responsibilities from now onwards, failure to do so will result in further disciplinary/ administrative action as per regulations.
