LG visits RVS iGlobal Corporate Office, highlights Jammu’s rise as emerging IT hub

JAMMU, Dec 4: The Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today visited the RVS iGlobal Corporate Office at Narwal, marking a significant milestone in the region’s fast-expanding technology landscape.
The visit underscored Jammu’s growing prominence as an emerging IT hub.
The LG toured the facility and reviewed key operations, including the company’s fully functional Network Operations Centre (NOC) and Security Operations Centre (SOC).
Live demonstrations of cybersecurity workflows, global 24/7 monitoring and managed IT services showcased the organisation’s world-class infrastructure, which the LG lauded as being on par with global delivery standards.
RVS iGlobal currently employs over 150 skilled IT professionals in Jammu and provides a wide range of services, Managed IT Support, NOC/SOC operations, Cybersecurity, Cloud Solutions and continuous IT monitoring, primarily for international clients in the United Kingdom.
The visit also coincided with the presence of a UK delegation representing long-standing partners, who are in Jammu to assess operations and explore expansion opportunities.
Appreciating RVS iGlobal’s contribution to skill development and global exposure for local youth, the LG Sinha emphasized the crucial role of such initiatives in positioning Jammu & Kashmir as a credible, future-ready technology destination.
RVS iGlobal extended gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor, dignitaries and the UK delegation, reaffirming its commitment to scaling operations and contributing to Jammu’s digital and economic growth.
Senior Government officials, who were present during the event included Deputy Commissioner Dr Rakesh Minhas, SSP Joginder Singh, SP South Ajay Sharma, DIG Shiv Kumar Sharma, Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, BJP Spokesperson Gaurav Gupta and Regional Transport Officer Jasmeet Singh.
