JAMMU, Dec 5: Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested one individual after a sharp-edged weapon was recovered from his possession in Domana area here.
During patrolling on the intervening night of December 3-4, 2025, a vehicle (JK02DF-2625) was intercepted by a team of Police Station Domana, a police official said.
On search of the vehicle, a sharp weapon was found in possession of the driver of the vehicle, identified as Balram Singh Jamwal alias Kapil of Galwade Chak, Gajansoo, he said.
Accordingly, the police official said that the accused was booked in case FIR number 254/2025 under sections 4/25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station Domana and further investigation taken up.
Pertinently, the arrest and seizure was made by a team of Police Station Domana led by SHO concerned, Inspector Varuneshwar Singh.
