UDHAMPUR, Dec 10: The 15th District Udhampur Taekwondo Championships 2025-26, organised by the Taekwondo Association of District Udhampur under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association and J&K Sports Council, culminated at Indoor Hall, Subash Stadium, Udhampur. Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai graced valedictory ceremony as chief guest, with DDC Ghordi as guest of honour and DYSSO Udhampur as special guest.
Sidharth Taekwondo Academy lifted the Winner’s Trophy, while Udhampur Scorpion Academy finished runner-up. The chief guest distributed medals and mementos among winners and officials, praising the event for providing a strong competitive platform to young athletes. Medallists will now represent Udhampur at upcoming 28th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships.
A dedicated technical team, led by Nitin Singh Rathore (National Referee & Coach), Narayan Dass (NIS Certified Coach & Referee), Suresh Manhas (SR), Rakesh Singh (NR), Gourav Atri (NR), Mohit Kumar (NR), Shivansh Rajput (SR), Rajinder Kumar (SR), Saksham Sharma (SR), Aryaman Bansotra (SR), Ridham Arora (SR), Bhavna Parihar (SR), Dhruv Sharma (SR), Atul Sharma (SR), Sanjay Salaria (SR), and Aditya Prashar (SR), ensured smooth conduct of the event.
