JAMMU, Dec 13: S S Kids Care School, Indira Colony (Lakad Mandi), Janipur, Jammu North, celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm.
MLA Jammu North, Sham Lal Sharma, was the chief guest while Subhash Sharma, former BJP Councillor, Ward No. 36, was also present on the occasion, besides several other dignitaries and parents of the students.
Students showcased a variety of cultural performances, including dance and other stage activities.
Sham Lal Sharma, presented awards and certificates to the students for their remarkable achievements and encouraged them for their future endeavours.
In his address, the MLA stressed on the importance of girl child education, the overall development and empowerment of girls, the significance of `Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, vital role of education in shaping society, and the contribution of private schools in the current educational scenario.
The program was conducted under the leadership of Shazia Sheikh, Principal and Shahzada Khan, Chairperson of the school.
