JAMMU, Dec 14: Police in Jammu district today claimed they have arrested an individual for his involvement in a mobile snatching related incident, who was evading his arrest for the past one year.
Mohammad Aslam of Mistry Mohalla Narwal was arrested today by a team of Police Post Hari Market in case FIR number 13/2024 registered under section 382 of the IPC at Police Station City Jammu, a police official said.
According to him, the accused confessed his involvement in the snatching incident and on the basis of his disclosure, the stolen mobile phone was recovered by the police party.
Pertinently, SI GC Thappa-led team arrested the snatcher under the supervision of SHO City Shakti Devi and under the overall supervision of SP City North Vivek Shekhar.
