Suresh Sharma starts road blacktopping work

AKHNOOR, Dec 21: Senior BJP leader and District Development Council (DDC) member, Pandit Suresh Sharma here today started the blacktopping work on Ghar-Sanodi road in Panchayat Ghar, Block Chowki Choura and the work shall be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 10 lakh.
Addressing the gathering, Suresh Sharma said that during the past five years, development works in Block Chowki Choura and Maira Mandrian have been undertaken by keeping public demands at forefront.
He reiterated the resolve to connect every village and hamlet with strong and reliable road connectivity.
Sharma further said that under the leadership of PM Modi, J&K is witnessing all-round development.
“Several welfare schemes aimed at upliftment the poor are being implemented, ensuring that benefits reach the last person in the queue,” he maintained adding: “Continuous efforts are being made to ensure that no area remains deprived of basic facilities.”
BJP Mandal president, Ashok Kumar Sharma; former Sarpanch Chunnilal, Madan Lal, Ramesh Chandra, Sikander Lal, former Naib Sarpanch Satpal, former Panch Parushotam Lal, Pawan Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Ramesh Lal, Jaipal, concerned department officials and others were also present on the occasion.
