JAMMU, Dec 25: All-new Tata Sierra was launched at AM TATA Jammu today, marking the return of one of India’s most iconic SUVs.
The launch event was held at AM TATA’s flagship showroom on NH-44 By-Pass Road, Narwal, Jammu, and saw enthusiastic participation from customers, media representatives and automobile lovers.
A statement said the new Tata Sierra represents a modern comeback of a legendary nameplate, combining classic design elements with advanced technology, safety and future-ready features.
It said the event was graced by Chief Guest Jayant Mani, Deputy General Manager, SBI Jammu, and Guest of Honour Danish Afzal, Area Sales Manager, Tata Motors, along with Jashan Bhalla, Territory Sales Manager, Tata Motors.
The ceremony was led by the AM Group leadership, including Chairman Jatinder Gupta, Managing Director Sanjay Mahajan, and Directors Ankur Mahajan, Tarun Malhotra, Akshay Mahajan, Sharmila Mahajan, Vandana Mahajan, Sakshi Mahajan, Dr Chakshu Mahajan, Aryan Mahajan and Sahira Mahajan.
Their leadership continues to strengthen AM TATA’s position as a trusted automotive brand in the region.
Unveiling the Tata Sierra – The Legend Returns, the SUV stays true to its heritage with the iconic wraparound glass design, a bold stance and a clean, modern look. New-age features include first-in-segment thigh support extenders and the large Panaromax Sunroof.
The SUV is offered with Tata Motors’ latest 4-cylinder engines, 1.5L TGDi Hyperion Petrol, 1.5L Revotron Petrol, and 1.5L Kryojet Diesel.
Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed advanced automatic and a 7-speed DCT, designed for smooth performance across city roads, highways and hilly terrain.
Built on the all-new ARGOS platform, the Sierra sets new safety standards. It is the first vehicle in its segment to undergo head-on car-to-car crash testing, highlighting Tata Motors’ leadership in vehicle safety.
The launch was supported by interactive showroom displays, allowing visitors to explore the Sierra’s design, technology and safety features through guided walkthroughs. The event witnessed strong customer engagement throughout the evening.
