SKCC beats Royal Strikers CC by 5 runs

JAMMU, Dec 28: In a nail-biting 20-over clash at Darap Ground, Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Club (SKCC) secured a dramatic 5-run victory over Royal Strikers Cricket Club (RSCC), keeping fans on the edge of their seats until the final delivery.
After winning the toss, SKCC captain Raman Cheema elected to bat first. Aneesh Khajuria starred with a composed 59 off 50 balls, hitting 10th boundaries, while Anil (Shallu) added a blistering 29 off 15 balls, including two towering sixes, guiding SKCC to 148/4. For RSCC, Vikas Kumar took two wickets, with Sallem and Aarav claiming one wicket each.
Chasing 149, RSCC fought valiantly, highlighted by a 51-run fifth-wicket stand between Sunil (21) and Talib Hussain (16), but fell short at 143/8. SKCC bowlers Vicky and Vinod grabbed two wickets each, supported by Rahul, Akshit, Baba Barjinder and Vivek Suri.
Aneesh Khajuria was named Man of the Match. SKCC President Aman Cheema praised both teams and emphasized the club’s “Say Yes to Future, No to Drugs” campaign promoting a drug-free youth.
