JAMMU, Dec 30: Athletes from Jammu & Kashmir brought laurels to Union Territory at the National Karate Championship 2025 held in Delhi, winning multiple medals.
J&K medallists included Gold winners Abhyuday Singh, Aryan Mathur, Sara Gupta, Yuvraj Malhotra, Adhrav Dogra, Priyanshu Deshwal and Divum Kumar; Silver medallists Naksh Singh, Ayaan, Krish and Ankush Choudhary and Bronze medallists Manav Sharma, Dhruv Sharma, Kanav Singh and Aryan Sharma.
Following their outstanding performance, the medallists have been selected for the Invitational International Karate Championship, held at the same venue. The championship was organized by National Karate Federation of India, saw participation from nearly six countries, including Iran, Uzbekistan, Nepal, Japan, Thailand and India.
