TIRUMALA, Jan 1: Enhanced taste, consistent quality, and unwavering devotion have propelled Srivari Laddu prasadam sales at Tirumala to a historic high in 2025, marking the best performance in the past decade. Devotees visiting the hill shrine have expressed growing satisfaction with the improved quality and flavour of the laddus, a factor that coincided with a 10 percent rise in overall sales compared to the previous year (2024).
While 12.15 crore laddus were sold in 2024, sales climbed to 13.52 crore laddus in 2025, an increase of 1.37 crore laddus, TTD said in a release here on Thursday.
The surge in demand peaked on December 27, 2025, when devotees purchased an unprecedented 5.13 lakh laddus in a single day, the highest single-day sale ever recorded.
To meet the growing demand, TTD prepares around 4 lakh laddus ?very day, scaling up production to 8-10 lakh laddus on peak and festival days, including buffer stock.
The sacred prasadam is prepared at the Srivari Potu by nearly 700 Sri Vaishnava Brahmins, working in two shifts round the clock, strictly adhering to age-old religious traditions and discipline.
In recent times, devotees have expressed happiness and satisfaction over the improved quality and taste of the laddus prepared by TTD.
