J&K-born IPoS officer elevated as Joint Secretary in DoPT

JAMMU, Jan 1: An Indian Postal Service officer from Jammu and Kashmir has been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).
As per an order, Jagdeep Gupta, who hails from Billawar in Kathua district, has been given the posting for a tenure of five years.
He belongs to the 2004 batch of the Indian Postal Service and brings with him long administrative experience at the Centre.
