DODA, Jan 2: Observing some suspicious activity near his house in Dessa area here today, a VDG member fired a few warning shots from his allotted gun.
After the firing, necessary reinforcement was dispatched to the area to ensure security and peace in the area.
As a precautionary measure, the people of the area have been advised to remain vigilant, stay calm and cooperate with Police, security agencies and avoid unnecessary movement.
The VDGs of the nearby areas have been properly briefed and sensitized to remain alert and extend full cooperation to the security forces as and when required.
