JAMMU, Jan 11: Dr. Abhinav Gupta, Professor of Medicine at Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS) today earned dual international honours for his stellar contributions to medical education and endocrinology.
Dr Gupta has been appointed International Member of the Medical Education Board of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow for a three-year term.
This elite role celebrates his pioneering work in curriculum innovation, drawing on his Fellowship from Royal Colleges in Edinburgh, Glasgow and London.
This prestigious appointment underscores Dr Gupta’s contributions to advancing medical training and curriculum development on a global stage.
The Royal College, a leading institution in postgraduate medical education, values his insights from his extensive work in internal medicine.
The role of the Medical Education Board is to provide leadership in the provision of-postgraduate medical education and to support the education and professional-development needs of Fellows and Members in clinical practice in the UK and-internationally, in line with the mission and strategic aims of the College.
In addition to this, Dr Gupta has joined the Task Force of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), where he will shape advanced strategies in diabetes and obesity Management.
