JAMMU, Jan 16: Election of Defense Accounts Retired Welfare Association (DARWA) Jammu for the term 2026-27 was held today.
The electoral proceedings were overseen by Association’s patron and chairman, Rewat Kumar Dogra.
During election, Ashwini Trishal was reelected unanimously as the Association president for another term.
Following his election, Trishal announced his new executive team with R.K Dogra as advisor; Darshan Grover, vice president; Rachpal Dingra, general secretary; Yashpal Sharma, joint secretary; Dharamveer Sharma, organizing joint secretary; Krishan Gopal, secretary; Raj Singh, financial secretary; Santosh Sharma, office secretary; Hans Raj Bahadur and Ambika Samotra, members.
The elected office bearers expressed their commitment for the welfare of retired defense accounts personnel, strengthening community outreach and ensuring transparent governance within the Association.
