UDHAMPUR, Jan 27: In a significant action against drug trafficking, Udhampur Police has attached immovable and movable properties worth approximately Rs 75 Lakhs belonging to a drug peddler under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act, in connection with FIR No. 184/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Rehambal.
The attached properties belong to Kazim Ashraf, son of Mohd Ashraf, of Near Old Bus Stand, Bhaderwah, District Doda.
The attached/seized property is a Pucca residential house on 09 Marlas of land falling under Khasra No. 1479 Min, situated near Old Bus Stand, Bhaderwah, District Doda
During the course of investigation, detailed financial analysis and backward linkage verification revealed that the accused had acquired the said properties through proceeds generated from narcotics trafficking. Based on these findings, the competent authority has passed the attachment order today, and further legal proceedings under the NDPS Act are underway.
