JAMMU, Jan 29: Dr Prabhakar, a retired senior Government officer and noted economist, has been nominated to participate in the 1st International Conference on “Global Dialogues on Interdisciplinary Research in Social Sciences, Humanities and Literature”.
The event is being organised by The Academic Society for Humanities and Literary Research (ASHLR) in collaboration with the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. Prabhakar, who has served as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) with the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary, is currently associated with the Ministry of Rural Development as a National Level Monitor and Consultant, overseeing the implementation of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) across the country.
During the conference, Dr. Prabhakar will present his views on economic challenges and development strategies under the Viksit Bharat Programme.
An alumnus of the University of Jammu, Dr. Prabhakar completed his Ph.D. in Economics from the institution. He is also a Life Member of the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA).
