JAMMU, Jan 31: On attaining the age of superannuation, many government employees today retired from their job, were accorded warm farewell by their departments.
Special Crime Wing (SCW), Crime Branch Jammu organised a farewell function in honour of two employees posted with the PSK-9 Squad, SCW Jammu, who have attained the age of superannuation.
The retiring officials are, Sg Ct. Sham Lal and follower Tarseem Lal.
A farewell lunch was hosted in their honour at the Zonal PSK-9 Headquarters, Sunjwan.
The event was attended by officers and officials of SCW Jammu and PSK-9 Squad Jammu, along with family members and relatives of the retiring employees.
After rendering 35 years of service in the Revenue Department, Manohar Singh today superannuated as Reader (Girdawar) from the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban.
He was accorded a warm send-off by Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak, along with senior officers of the district administration and staff members.
Dr Harjeet Rai, State Epidemiologist Directorate of Health Services Jammu today superannuated after rendering more than 27 years of service in the department. He was accorded a warm send off by the staff of Directorate of Health Services Jammu.
To bid him farewell, a function was organized in the premises of the Directorate.
Deputy Director Dentistry Dr. Sanjay Sharma, CMO Jammu Dr Harbaksh Singh and officers and officials wished him a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
On attaining the age of superannuation, a warm send offs for three officers of J&K Police, Dy SP Shiv Kumar, Sub Inspector Kartar Nath and Sub Inspector Raj Kumar, a fare well function was held here today.
Retirement gifts of Rupees one Lakh each was sanctioned by PHQ were handed over to the officers along with mementos by DIG Traffic Jammu Zone Dr Haseeb Mughal and SSP Traffic Rural Jammu Farooq Qaiser and SSP Traffic Jammu Amit Bhasin.
The Agriculture Department accorded a warm farewell to Manohar Lal, Chauffeur, on his superannuation today after rendering more than 35 years of dedicated service in different capacities in the Department.
The farewell function was graced by Director Agriculture Jammu, Anil Gupta, alongside Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) Jammu, Sanjay Anand, senior officers of the Department and members of the Drivers Association of the Agriculture Department.
On the occasion, the retiree was also presented with a memento as a mark of appreciation for his dedicated services.
