Srinagar, Feb 2: Police in Anantnag today arrested a drug peddler and recovered 330 grams of charas from his possession.
According to police, the recovery was made during a naka checking operation at Nagdandi Crossing.
During the operation, a person identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Malik, son of Ghulam Nabi Malik and a resident of Sombruna, was apprehended.
“During the search, a charas-like substance weighing approximately 330 grams was recovered from his possession,” police said.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 04/26 under relevant sections of law has been registered, and further investigation has been initiated
