JAMMU, Feb 4: A key coordination meeting of BJP Morchas was held today to finalise the roadmap for the Budget Awareness Fortnight, to be observed from 2nd to 15th of the month across district and State levels. The meeting was chaired and led by Rakesh Mahajan, who outlined the objectives, outreach strategy, and organisational framework for effectively taking the Union Budget’s message to the grassroot.
The meeting was attended by Arun Prabhat Singh, president, BJP Yuva Morcha, Neha Mahajan, president, BJP Mahila Morcha; and Rakesh Pant, president, BJP Kisan Morcha, along with their respective general secretaries and senior office bearers.
Addressing the meeting, Arun Prabhat, president, BJP Yuva Morcha, stated that the Union Budget has opened new avenues for youth in the fields of employment, entrepreneurship, skill development, and innovation. He stressed that the Yuva Morcha would actively engage young citizens through interactive programs and discussions to ensure that the benefits of the Budget are clearly understood at the grassroots level.
Neha Mahajan, president, BJP Mahila Morcha, in her address, highlighted that the Budget reflects the Government’s commitment towards women empowerment, welfare, and financial inclusion. She said that special focus would be laid on educating women about schemes related to self-employment, health, education, and economic security during the Budget Awareness Fortnight.
Rakesh Pant, president, BJP Kisan Morcha, emphasized that the Budget has given priority to farmers’ welfare, agricultural growth, and rural development. He added that Kisan Morcha would organise focused outreach programs to inform farmers about provisions related to MSP, irrigation, agri-infrastructure, and income enhancement initiatives.
While addressing the meeting, Rakesh Mahajan reiterated that the Budget Awareness Fortnight must be conducted in a systematic, coordinated, and people-centric manner, ensuring that the vision and benefits of the Budget reach every section of society, especially youth, women, farmers, and the common man.
The meeting concluded with the finalisation of a comprehensive district-wise and State-level action plan to be implemented during the Budget Awareness Fortnight.
