Rajouri, Feb 5: In a decisive action against narcotics-related cases, Rajouri Police have attached an immovable property worth ₹20.37 lakh belonging to an accused involved in a major NDPS case, reinforcing the administration’s zero-tolerance policy towards drug trafficking and proceeds of crime.
Rajouri Police has attached an immovable property belonging to an accused involved in a narcotics case under the NDPS Act.
The attached property comprises a single-storey residential house worth ₹20,37,970/belonging to Nahid Choudhary S/o Mohd Shafi R/o Rampur Talwal (Peer Kanju) Tehsil & District Rajouri.
The attachment has been carried out under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act by Police Station Rajouri following due legal procedure.
The aforesaid accused has been arrested in FIR No. 605/2025 under Sections 8, 21, 22 & 29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Rajouri.
Rajouri Police reiterates its firm commitment to combat drug trafficking and to take stringent legal action against those involved in narcotics related offences including the attachment of illegally acquired properties. (KNC)
